Other referrals
Other referrals could come from a range of our ‘referral partners’, for example, the voluntary and community sector, job centre plus and social workers.
Sickness absence from work can be for a variety of reasons and can be affected by several different things. By contacting us, we can create more options for people to choose from and find ways to avoid any more difficulties. In many cases, it is our referral partners that connect us with people who need our help.
We offer help to people who are unemployed and want to find work. We also help people who have a job but would prefer to find a new one. People at risk of unemployment can often benefit from trade union advice or legal services but this is not always possible, so we look at what they need and work with them to overcome their health, disability or work barriers. People need clear options, especially if they have a disability or a complex medical condition, so we explain the pros and cons and guide them clearly through the process.
We provide support with various issues affecting people’s ability to work, such as housing, transport, mental health, social prescribing, finances and debt, drug and alcohol services, care support, healthy lifestyles and physiotherapy.
Get in contact and speak to us about:
- voluntary and free personalised advice for people with a health condition or disability that affects working
- six months support that continues alongside your health and work developments
- help speaking to employers to address sensitive or complex issues
